The famous viewpoint, Ghorepani Poon Hill offers us incredible sunrise, sunset and stunning mountains vista, where you can take some captivating pictures. Machhapuchhre, (Fishtail Mountain), Mount Dhaulagiri and many other splendid peaks from the Poon Hill.  Another interesting place is Jhinu Danda, where trekkers will get an opportunity to bath in the natural hot spring situated in the lap of the mountains and it is believed that once you bath in the naturally hot water, the water has a healing power that eases away skin aches and pain.

Trekking trail of Annapurna Base Camp!

This legendary Annapurna Bas Camp trek begins with a scenic flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu. From Pokhara, we will begin our journey to Nayapul by the road and from Nayapul, we will follow our trekking route to Annapurna Base Camp. During our trekking, we will pass several villages on the way and explore different beautiful landscapes. As we reach the Basecamp, we will explore the Base Camp and return back to Kathmandu by following the different route.

When to Trek?

Autumn (Mid-September to November) and Spring (March to May) are the best seasons to go and explore the beauty of the Annapurna region, where you will explore the Annapurna Base Camp. During trekking in these seasons, you can witness blooming rhododendrons flowers with their colorful red and white colors. You can also see clear and alluring views of the mountains that include Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna (8,091m), Machhapuchre and Annapurna Ranges.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu – (1360m)

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara – (910m.) 6 Hrs Drive

Day 4: Pokhara to Ghandruk – (1990m) 5 hrs walk

Day 5: Trek to Chhomrung – (2210m) 5 hrs walk

Day 6: Trek to Bamboo – (2350m) 5 hrs walk

Day 7: Trek to Deurali – (3140m) 5 hrs walk

Day 8: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp – (4130m) 5 hrs walk

Hotels, Tea Houses and Lodges

Accommodation in Kathmandu will be in a 3 or 4-star hotel.

Accommodation during the trek will be in tea house or lodges. Some accommodations at lower altitudes offer fully equipped rooms with electricity, western toilet facility, wi-fi, and hot showers. Whereas some tea houses, especially at the higher altitude offer very basic kind of services.

You will be accommodated on a twin-basis during the trek. Most single rooms have twin beds with some basic furniture like a small table or a chair. If you want a single room for yourself, let us know in advance before the trek.

Normally, beds contain pillow and sheets. Almost all tea houses provide blankets but it is advisable to use your sleeping bag which will be provided by us in case it becomes too cold.

Some tea houses especially those at lower altitudes have proper western toilets. As you move higher some tea houses use squat toilet facilities. Also, it is important to know that some tea houses do not provide toilet paper in the toilets.

In higher altitudes, you will usually have to pay extra for charting electronic devices or taking a hot shower. Laundry services are also available in some lodges at an extra price. Wifi cards can also be bought at these lodges. There are multiple options available depending on the data limit and speed.
