Bhaktapur presents you the centuries-old buildings and nomadic lifestyle of local people. Bhaktapur Durbar Square where you will explore many traditional attractions. Nyatapol temple, golden gate, 55 windows Palace, Bhairavanath temple, and lions gate are the major attractions of this Palace.

  1. Day 01 Welcome to Nepal via Tribhuvan International Airport

    Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, one of our staff members will be waiting at the exit gate to welcome you and take you to the hotel, where you will rest for a while. Our team will be waiting to meet you at our office. In the evening, you will have a welcome dinner along with our team in a typical Nepali restaurant, where you can taste real Nepali food and view a live traditional dance. Also, you will meet our team and your tour guide during a short meeting.

    Note: Dinner and an introductory meeting will be organized as per your arrival time. If it is not the day of your arrival, it will be postponed for the next day.

  2. Day 02 One-day Short Kathmandu Trip and Trek Orientation

    You will have an entire day of sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley, the capital city of Nepal. After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your tour guide will take you to the world-famous historical and religious tourist sites of Nepal: thePashupatinath Temple, the Swayambunath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. All these sites are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Returning from this short trip, you will have time to rest, and then there will be an orientation meeting on trekking in the Everest region. The session will focus on providing information about trekking in Nepal and answer your questions. Please, check your equipment after the meeting and let us know if you need any equipment. We will help you buy any necessary trekking gear.

  3. Day 03 Exploration in Patan and Bhaktapur and Drive to Nagarkot

    After early morning breakfast and hotel check-out, we will drive to the oldest and traditional cities of Nepal; Patan and Bhaktapur. Today’s highlight is Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Both are listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. After having Newari lunch at Bhaktapur, we will drive to the most scenic and pleasant place; Nagarkot. This place is renowned for its sunrise and sunset views over the snow-clad Himalayan ranges. Reaching Nagarkot, we will explore around the village witnessing the beautiful vistas of the high mountains and sunset. Firstly, we will visit Patan Durbar Square and then, we will drive to the city of the living heritage of Newars; Bhaktapur. Newars are considered as the aboriginal of Kathmandu.

  4. Day 04 Nagarkot Sightseeing and Drive or Fly to Pokhara

    To witness the beautiful view of the sunrise over the white mountains, get up early in the morning. After having breakfast, we will roam around the village and climb a tower to witness the magnificent views of Himalayas. Then, we will depart to Pokhara; the city of lakes. Enjoy the pictures of landscapes, rivers, green forests, and high Himalayan ranges while driving to Pokhara. Pokhara is one of the lively cities in Nepal. This city offers you the vistas of many high mountains such as Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,163m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchchhre (6,998m). After hotel check-in, take rest in the lakeside hotel. In the evening, we will stroll around the streets of lakesides.

  5. Day 05 Pokhara Sightseeing

    Sarangkot, Fewa Lake, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Bindabasini temple, International Mountain Museum, Devi’s Fall, Mahendra cave are some of the highlights of Pokhara. Also, paragliding, boating, Jeep gliding, Bungee jumping, and hiking are some of thefavoriteadventure activities of this city. We will start with an early morning hike up to Sarangkot. It offers you the wonderful sunrise view over the white mountains and involves activities such as paragliding. While visitingthe International Mountain museum, you will see various floras and faunas along with a culture of different ethnic communities on exhibition. We will then visit Devi’s fall and Mahendra Cave. Devi’s fall is a waterfall that flows directly into a narrow and deep canal.  We also do boating in the largest lake of Pokhara; Fewa. Later, we will visit the Tibetan Refugee camp to observe their lifestyle.

  6. Day 06 Back to Kathmandu

    After having breakfast, we will visit the remaining touristic place in Pokhara. The route to Kathmandu from Pokhara passes through the Marshyangdi and Trishuli riverside. Both the rivers are famous for white water rafting. Arriving at Kathmandu and after hotel check-in, either take rest or explore around the most delightful touristic area; Thamel. Thamel is also famous for national and international branded shopping centers.

  7. Day 07 Departure Day

    After hotel check-out, a representative from Real Sherpa Adventures will drop you to the Kathmandu International airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. Have a safe trip and we wish to see you again!

Hotels, Tea Houses and Lodges

Accommodation in Kathmandu will be in a 3 or 4-star hotel.

Accommodation during the trek will be in tea house or lodges. Some accommodations at lower altitudes offer fully equipped rooms with electricity, western toilet facility, wi-fi, and hot showers. Whereas some tea houses, especially at the higher altitude offer very basic kind of services.

You will be accommodated on a twin-basis during the trek. Most single rooms have twin beds with some basic furniture like a small table or a chair. If you want a single room for yourself, let us know in advance before the trek.

Normally, beds contain pillow and sheets. Almost all tea houses provide blankets but it is advisable to use your sleeping bag which will be provided by us in case it becomes too cold.

Some tea houses especially those at lower altitudes have proper western toilets. As you move higher some tea houses use squat toilet facilities. Also, it is important to know that some tea houses do not provide toilet paper in the toilets.

In higher altitudes, you will usually have to pay extra for charting electronic devices or taking a hot shower. Laundry services are also available in some lodges at an extra price. Wifi cards can also be bought at these lodges. There are multiple options available depending on the data limit and speed.
