Nepal And Bhutan Tour

The first day of the tour in the Himalayan land. Your day starts with healthy morning breakfast. We will then head towards the popular historical and cultural sites of Kathmandu valley with our professional and friendly tour guide. Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square are the major highlights of today’s travel. Capture the moments in your camera! Visiting these UNESCO World Heritage Sites, you will get the insight of Nepal traditional culture and architecture. Your tour guide will provide information about the sites. After visiting these places in a private vehicle, we will return to the respective hotel.

After having breakfast and hotel check out, we will drive along the scenic Trishuli and Marsyangdi River to reach the city of lakes; Pokhara. Reaching this wonderful place which is also renowned as the second home to tourist offers you the vistas of many high mountains such as Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchchhre. After checking-in at the hotel, take rest for a while and explore the delightful lake side street in Pokhara.

Sarangkot, World Peace Stupa, Fewa Lake, Tibetan Refugee Camp, Bindabasini temple, International Mountain Museum, Devi’s Fall, and Mahendra cave are the major highlights of Pokhara sightseeing. After having breakfast, we will move on to visit these places. Hiking up to Sarangkot offers the wonderful sunrise views as well as glamorous vistas of Annapurna, Machhapuchchhre, and Dhaulagiri ranges. The food, colorful street, shopping centers, clubs, and restaurants will make your tour to Pokhara one of the most enjoyable and memorable ones.

After early morning breakfast and hotel check out, we will drive back to Kathmandu. If you wish or according to your budget, we will also visit Lumbini. This is the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. Many different style Buddhist monasteries and stupas are built by different Buddhist communities of the world. After reaching the Kathmandu Domestic airport and checking-in in at the hotel, you can take rest for a while. We will visit Patan Durbar Square during evening time.

Flight Time: 50 minutes

After having morning breakfast, we will head up to the Kathmandu International airport. The scenic mountain flight to Bhutan offers you a breathtaking view of Mt. Everest (8,848m). After reaching the airport, you will be transferred to the hotel and checked-in. Take rest for a few minutes and get fresh for Paro sightseeing! Today, we will visit Paro RinpungDzong, the Ta Dzong Museum, Kyichu Lhakhang, and the National Museum. At evening, roam around the street of Paro to observe Bhutanese arts and crafts! Also  experience the warm hospitality of locals!

Within two hours of driving from Paro via Pachu river, you will reach the capital of Bhutan; Thimpu; a fascinating combination of the ancient and the modern era. Reaching Thimpu, we will visit National Memorial Chorten (51.5 meters high Buddha Dordenma Statue), and the National Textile Museum. Observe the unique culture and traditions as well as Bhutan’s traditional architectural at Thimpu! Later, you can visit the main town and visit some shopping malls.

Today, we will visit Traditional Paper factory, the Folk Heritage Museum, King’s administrative building; TashichhoeDzong, National Library, and the School of Traditional paintings of Arts and Crafts. TashichhoeDzong is the seat of the Royal Government and Central Monastic Body. Similarly, the Folk Heritage Museum and the School of Traditional paintings of Arts and Crafts offers a fantastic insight into Bhutanese culture. Visiting the National Library, you will see the rare collection of Buddhist scriptures. Stroll around the lively market at Thimpu and buy gifts for your loved ones!

After having morning breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we will drive back to Paro valley where we can visitTaktsang Monastery. Taktsang Monastery is the most iconic pilgrimage site of Buddhists in Bhutan. Once we reach the trailhead, we begin our hike to the monastery. An uphill walk through the dense forest filled with pine trees will offer you mesmerizing and close up views of the monastery perched on the side of the rocky cliff. The view from the top is breathtaking! Meditate with Buddhist monks at this beautiful and peaceful monastery for sometime. After exploring and capturing beautiful sceneries, we will move down to Paro and back to the hotel. Take rest and get ready for tomorrow morning flight to Kathmandu!

After morning breakfast and hotel check out, your guide will drop you to the airport. Once again, enjoy the views of verdant landscapes, breathtakingsnowcapped mountains, and green hills from the top. On your arrival, your tour guide will pick you up and drive you to the ancient city of Nepal; Bhaktapur for sightseeing. Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Palace of 55 Windows, Nyatapol Temple, Golden Gate, Bhairavnath temple are some of the architectural wonders that we will visit today. These beautiful sites will display the traditional art, architecture, and lifestyle of ancient Nepal. We will stay at the same hotel after returning from historical and cultural sightseeing.

Wake up early in the morning for witnessing the beautiful morning sight in Nagarkot. Nagarkot is one of the peaceful and beautiful places in Nepal which is famous for incredible sunrise, sunset, and snow-clad mountains views. Driving to Nagarkot offers you a pleasant and picturesque traveling experience through the dense forest areas. After exploring and spending some unforgettable moments here, we will drive to Telkot. From Telkot, we will hike down via forest area to the ancient shrine of Changunarayan temple.  It is one of the oldest and UNESCO World heritage religious sites of Nepal. Later on, we will get back to the hotel in Kathmandu valley. At evening, explore around the Thamel area!
