    Overview

    Peky peak trail will allow you to discover authentic Nepal. You will travel from Sherpa villages to Sherpa villages in the lower Solu region. The Landscapes of mountains and forests, rhododendrons is bloom in spring. View of the Himalayan peaks including Everest from the Pike Peak at 4000m.

    we will live an extraordinary experience by staying with locals and sharing their daily life and their cuisine based on local and varied products. As we close as possible to the Sherpa, Tamang, and Newar people. We will enter the Buddhist and Hindu cultures in an atmosphere of conviviality and sharing.

    1. Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m)

      We are met at the airport by our local team and then transferred to our hotel. Briefing presenting the progress of the trek, then free time. In case of arrival in the morning, free day of rest or the possibility of making free visits for those who wish (not included). It is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in Nepalese culture, to test the local gastronomy.

    2. Day 02 Visit Kathmandu Valley (1300m)

      Have breakfast and then you have the whole day to explore the best Kathmandu Sightseeing spots with your guide. You can visit and explore one of the most famous Shiva temples, Pashupatinath, recognized as the monkey temple; Swyambhunath, largest Stupa in the world, also called Boudhanath Stupa; and finally the Royal Palace, Kathmandu Durbar Square. The next day, you will begin your trek on the Annapurna Circuit, so you have to check your equipment to make sure that you are ready for your adventure and climb. Have dinner and stay overnight in the same hotel at Kathmandu.

    3. Day 03 Drive from Kathmandu (1,300 m) to Pattale (2,840 m). 8-9hours

      Wake up early in the morning then breakfast. Transfer to the bus station. The journey will be by local jeep and will last approx. 9 hours.
      This route will allow you to discover the Kathmandu Valley, Bhaktapur, Banepa then Dhulikhel. You will cross rice fields landscapes and you will soak up the local life all along the road. From Pattale, you can contemplate the splendid view of the Himalayan range.
      Homestay Trip: 240 km, around 8 to 9 hours’ drive. The road between Kathmandu and Pattale will run between the mountains so it can belong.

    4. Day 04 Trek from Pattale to Salnasse (2,300 m).5-6hours

      After a warm breakfast Breakfast we will departure for the first day of walking. That’s it, here you are in the Solukhumbu region, the land of the Sherpas! You climb up to Phokte (3200m) to enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas. A beautiful picture is offered to you between the Nepalese hills from where you can see in the distance the mountains of Numbur, Dudhkunda, a sacred mountain, and several other peaks.
      Arrival at Kerung village (2,400m), visit the monastery, and lunch stop. You continue with a big descent towards Sisakhola. Another 1.5 hours walk to reach the pretty little Sherpa village of Salnasse. A night with the locals.

    5. Day 05 Trek from Salnasse to Dimil (2,900 m).5-6hours

      Today the second day of walking to Tapting to a traditional Sherpa village. The continuation of this walk will lead you to Solnasa inhabited mainly by the Magar ethnic group. You will then meet at sherpas in the village of Lumsa. Arrival in the afternoon at Dimli ,We will have Lunch with a Sherpa family.
      Meal and overnight at the inhabitant where you will live in a traditional house to the rhythm of the Sherpa family and learn more about the customs of these people who came a long time ago from eastern Tibet.

    6. Day 06 Trek from Dimil to Pike base camp (3,650 m). 6hour

      The third day of walking, Today we go up towards the base camp of Pike peak. Walk along Lumsa Khola River. we will stop for lunch then continues to Pike base camp. The site is very soothing with a splendid point of view.

    7. Day 07 Trek from Base Camp (3,650m) - Pike peak (4,070m) - Junbesi (2,750m). 7-8hours

      You will start the day early in the morning with a gradual climb to the summit of Pike Danda (4,070 m). You will appreciate the panoramic view of the Himalayan range: Annapurna II, Everest (8,848 m), Lhoste (8,501 m), Makalu (8,483 m), Nuptse (7,864 m), Ama Dablam (6,856 m), and Thamserku (6,608 m)…
      You will descend to the Col to Jasmane Bhanjyang. Homestay lunch stop. You will continue the descent through the Taktar valley before continuing towards Junebesi. The village is a large Sherpa village built around a monastery and a school built by Hillary, the winner of Everest.

    8. Day 08 Trek from Junbesi to Thupten Chöling Gompa (2950 m). 6hours

      After breakfast, you will go up the Junebesi Khola valley to reach the monastery of Tubten Chöling. One of the largest Nyingma pa (red cap) monasteries in the Himalayas.
      You will visit the monastery, meeting with nuns and monks. In the afternoon, you climb the hill – covered with prayer flags – overlooking the monastery (view of the Numbur / Khatang Massif). Return to the monastery and share the daily life of the monks.

    9. Day 09 Trek from Tupten Chöling - Shingrare The (3 400m) to Ringmo (720m). 6hours

      Climb a ridge above the monastery, walk in the forest. We will Passing a small pass, the Shingare La (3,400m) overlooking the snow-capped Mera Peak and Thamserku. Descent to Ringmo.

    10. Day 10 Trek from Ringmo to Phaplu.

      The short climb to reach Trakshindo on a ridge then we enter a beautiful forest of conifers and giant rhododendrons. The very nice trail before reaching a ridge where many clearings allow you to admire the Himalayan chain of the Everest region. View of the summit of Everest from the stupa of Purano Buddha. Wide track to descend. Phaplu, numerous shops, and small antiport.

    11. Day 11 Drive from phaplu to Kathmandu (1300m) 8-9hours

      After breakfast, you will leave the mountain, its villages and its welcoming populations to return to Kathmandu and find the Nepalese family. Dinner with family.

    12. Day 12 Departure from Kathmandu (1300m)

      We will drive you back to Tribhuvan International Airport for your scheduled flight to your destination.

    Hotels, Tea Houses and Lodges

    Accommodation in Kathmandu will be in a 3 or 4-star hotel.

    Accommodation during the trek will be in tea house or lodges. Some accommodations at lower altitudes offer fully equipped rooms with electricity, western toilet facility, wi-fi, and hot showers. Whereas some tea houses, especially at the higher altitude offer very basic kind of services.

    You will be accommodated on a twin-basis during the trek. Most single rooms have twin beds with some basic furniture like a small table or a chair. If you want a single room for yourself, let us know in advance before the trek.

    Normally, beds contain pillow and sheets. Almost all tea houses provide blankets but it is advisable to use your sleeping bag which will be provided by us in case it becomes too cold.

    Some tea houses especially those at lower altitudes have proper western toilets. As you move higher some tea houses use squat toilet facilities. Also, it is important to know that some tea houses do not provide toilet paper in the toilets.

    In higher altitudes, you will usually have to pay extra for charting electronic devices or taking a hot shower. Laundry services are also available in some lodges at an extra price. Wifi cards can also be bought at these lodges. There are multiple options available depending on the data limit and speed.
