Apart from climbing the three peaks, this legendary trekking trail also allows you to explore the famous viewpoint KalaPatthar, from where you can have magnificent viewsof Everest, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, Pumori, Lhotse, Makalu, AmaDablam and associated peaks in the Everest Region of Nepal. This thrilling adventure demands a high level of physical fitness and previous climbing experience will definitely help even though training on using fixed ropes, ascenders and descenders will be provided. During this amazing Three Peaks Climbing, you will be acclimatized slowly, after which you can learn basic mountaineering skills which will boost your confidence while climbing these peaks.Pokalde Peak is one of the more accessible mountains which also offers magnificent views of Himalayas from its summit and we will climbing this peak first. Island Peak, atan altitude of 6,189 meters is a very popular trekking peak and we will be climbing it next. This amazing peak also offers panoramic views of mountains such as Lhotse, Nuptse, Lhotse Shar, Makalu (8475m), Baruntse (7129m), Amadablam (6812m) and many more. Finally, we will climb Lobuche East Peak.
The expedition trail of Three peaks climbing
The fascinating 40 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Lukla will be the beginning of our trekking adventure. From Lukla, the gateway of Everest region trek, we will begin a trek following the numerous Sherpa villages, juniper forests, terraced fields, yak pastures and pass by Buddhist Monasteries. We will acclimatize at the Sherpa capital, Namche Bazaar, which is the last large village before heading into more remote mountain villages. The trekking trail first goes to Pokalde Base Camp, which is situated at an elevation of 5806meters. It is a straightforward climb and you will be given some training on using ascenders, fixed ropes, and rappelling at the base camp. Then we will continue to climb Island peak, also known as ImjaTse peak. After this, the trail goes through Everest Base camp followed by the famous viewpoint Kala Patthar for impressive Himalayans views. Then we will continue the trek onwards to LobucheEast High Camp for our ascent of Lobuche East. After summiting Lobuche East, we will return to Kathmandu by Namche Bazaar and Lukla.
Best time for three peaks climbing
Autumn and spring are the ideal time to explore these exciting and adventurous three Peaks: Pokalde, Island, and Lobuche East in the Everest region of Nepal. In these seasons, the weather and temperature are quite favorable for climbingcompared to other seasons. Spring season implies the time from mid-March to May and autumn season includes the time from mid-September to November, in which all the surrounding is blooming with golden green leaves, white and red flowers of rhododendrons.

Accommodation in Kathmandu will be in a 3 or 4-star hotel.
Accommodation during the trek will be in tea house or lodges. Some accommodations at lower altitudes offer fully equipped rooms with electricity, western toilet facility, wi-fi, and hot showers. Whereas some tea houses, especially at the higher altitude offer very basic kind of services.
You will be accommodated on a twin-basis during the trek. Most single rooms have twin beds with some basic furniture like a small table or a chair. If you want a single room for yourself, let us know in advance before the trek.
Normally, beds contain pillow and sheets. Almost all tea houses provide blankets but it is advisable to use your sleeping bag which will be provided by us in case it becomes too cold.
Some tea houses especially those at lower altitudes have proper western toilets. As you move higher some tea houses use squat toilet facilities. Also, it is important to know that some tea houses do not provide toilet paper in the toilets.
In higher altitudes, you will usually have to pay extra for charting electronic devices or taking a hot shower. Laundry services are also available in some lodges at an extra price. Wifi cards can also be bought at these lodges. There are multiple options available depending on the data limit and speed.
