Overview
Trekking in the Remote upper mustang is one of the beautiful Himalayan treasures. This lies on the north of the Annapurna range and the border of Tibet and Nepal. it is excellent for trekking, rich in culture and rugged mountain landscapes.
This magnificent valley trek covers a few long trekking and passes over 3500m. Walk behind a traditional path through a real village that once served flourishing trade trails between Tibet and Nepal. these whitewashed settlements, set in the middle of barley fields and village to beautiful impressive mani wall, Chortens, and monasteries which reflect the long-lasting Buddha and Buddhist culture of upper mustang.
Upper mustang landscape is visible as a semi-arid desert with stunning ravines and rock shelves and edge by beautiful snow peak. Lo Manthang is an outstanding place to visit. Lo manthong is a famous ancient wall city and the capital of Mustang remains a kingdom within a kingdom its full of culture and religious heritage.
Short Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu (1300m)
Day 02: Fly to Pokhara (1000m)
Day 03: Early Fly to Jomsom (2710m), trek to Kagbeni (2810m), walk approx. 3hrs
Day 04: Trek from Kagbeni (2,800 m) – Chaili (3,060 m) to Samar (3,660 m). 5-6hours
Day 05:Trek from Samar to Geling (3,570 m). 5-6 hour
Day 06: Trekking Geling to Drakmar (3,860 m). 6hour
Day 07: Trek from Drakmar to Lo Manthang (3550 m). 7hour by Lo Gekar.
Day 08: Trek from Tsarang to Lo Manthang (3780 m). 6hour
Day 09: Trek North of Lo Mantang (3,780 m). (Explore Lo Manthnang)
Day 10: Trek from Lo Mantang to Yara (3,600 m). 7hour

Accommodation in Kathmandu will be in a 3 or 4-star hotel.
Accommodation during the trek will be in tea house or lodges. Some accommodations at lower altitudes offer fully equipped rooms with electricity, western toilet facility, wi-fi, and hot showers. Whereas some tea houses, especially at the higher altitude offer very basic kind of services.
You will be accommodated on a twin-basis during the trek. Most single rooms have twin beds with some basic furniture like a small table or a chair. If you want a single room for yourself, let us know in advance before the trek.
Normally, beds contain pillow and sheets. Almost all tea houses provide blankets but it is advisable to use your sleeping bag which will be provided by us in case it becomes too cold.
Some tea houses especially those at lower altitudes have proper western toilets. As you move higher some tea houses use squat toilet facilities. Also, it is important to know that some tea houses do not provide toilet paper in the toilets.
In higher altitudes, you will usually have to pay extra for charting electronic devices or taking a hot shower. Laundry services are also available in some lodges at an extra price. Wifi cards can also be bought at these lodges. There are multiple options available depending on the data limit and speed.
