We will follow the path that climbs over to Yalung Kang and we will climb steeply along the rocky glacier part to Ramdung base camp. During our climbing, we will have super stunning views of Gaurishankar, Melungste, Yalung, and several snow-capped high mountains across the Tibet border. We will set up our camp as soon as we reach the base camp and make necessary checks regarding our health conditions and climbing gears for the successful climb to the summit of Ramdung Peak.

We start early with the aim to reach the summit before noon as the strong winds after midday can create obstacles to climbing the peak. Following the footsteps and guidance of our experienced climbing experts, we will overcome minor technical sections and head towards the summit of Ramdung Peak. Once at the top we are rewarded with stunning views of Everest, Gaurishankar, Melungste, Yalang, and other surrounding high peaks. After spending some quality time at the top we will descend following the same route back to Yalung Glacier for our overnight camping.

After having achieved the summit of Ramdung Peak, we will return our footsteps and descend over the icy and slippery trail, using crampons we head back all the way to reach the Na village.

From here the trail climbs up to reach the northern side of the glacier. Once on the north side, we follow the trail that leads to the snout of Drolambu Glacier.
