Nepal Visa Information

All the foreign travelers except Indian require a visa to visit Nepal. Nepalese embassies and consulates abroad issue visa with ease. The visa is available at Tribhuwan International Airport at Kathmandu or at all land borders in Nepal. For visa upon arrival one must fill an application form with passport photos. For electronic passport holder, visa registration machine in immigration hall fills up the form after the passport is inserted in the machine. Passport photos, visa fee and passport validity of at least 6 months is required for the visa application. Citizens from Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Cameroon, Somalia, Liberia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Palestine, Afghanistan and Syria need to receive visa from Nepal embassies or Diplomatic Missions in their own country.
